Dragonfly

This dragonfly brought me very close to her, which I was very surprised!
And I was able to photograph her, it's a pity the weather was overcast.

Dragonfly is a predator, very fast and agile. The dragonfly catches small insects with jagged jaws right on the fly, and large paws.
Dragonfly has much better vision than other insects.

Dragonflies lay their eggs in water or in the tissue of aquatic plants, less often in wet soil.
Dragonfly nymphs are also predators, they feed on the larvae of aquatic insects, and sometimes attack tadpoles and fish fry.
But nymphs of dragonflies, in turn, also serve as food for fish.

At the end of development, the nymphs crawl out onto the near-water plants or onto the soil near the reservoir, where the last molt takes place, as a result of which an adult winged dragonfly appears.
