Do these ones burn you if they walk on you? There was one in arizona that looked like this that would give you a rash if it touched your skin.

Hi @sketch.and.jam! Yes, these caterpillars can cause an itchy rash with red or white bumps if touched. So...don't touch!
I learned the hard way in arizona.

I don’t think they do burn.. although I rarely pick up a catapillar unless it’s on a path and might get stepped on... @whatisnew is our insect and butterfly guru, I’m sure she will know...
