How to catch a butterfly
Today afternoon I spent in a hang-out with a very friendly small fellow. I believe his name was Reverdin's blue (Lat. Plebejus argyrognomon), but I'm not 100% sure!
I'm not an expert for butterflies, all my knowledge about them is very small. Sometimes it's very difficult to determine the type of a butterfly. In Lycaenidae family, which fellow from the photo belongs , there are 55 other species (at least in my country), and the differences between them are minimal: color shades, pattern of dots, etc.
It was a sunny and warm day, but also wind blew. These are the most favorable circumstances if you want to catch the butterfly without any great effort. Usually butterfly clings to the grass stem, and if you gently bring your hand near to him, it will climb on your hand or finger without much opposition.
After a while, I wanted to put it down on some of the many plants, but that was the hardest part of the job. I laughed, it seemed like he liked staying on my hand!

Super!
Thank you! :)
Lucky you @biti to be able to hold it and lucky you to find a blue butterfly! I do not see the blue ones very often and yours is stunning. It does get difficult to identify certain butterflies. Thanks for using #butterflyday tag! : )
Thank you! I already have pretty much big collection of photos with butterflies on my hand :)
That is great news! I am very much looking forward to your butterflies. : )
Those little blue ones are so cute.
He really likes your hand :)
Yeah he likes! If you just observe on what flower some butterfly landing, take one same flower and rub it on your hand, then will be much easier to pick up some butterfly. Approach to them only when he start to eat, then he doesn't pay attention so much whats going on around him! :)
