Old World swallowtail

In May 2017 i went on a hiking trip with a friend and her children on the "Sonnstein" that is a mountain in Upper Austria near the Lake Traunsee or the town of Gmunden. There i had the luck to find this beautful butterfly. A Old World Swallowtail flying around on the top of the mountain. I found it when we did rest near the summit cross. It was flying around an a little bit nervous but with my 300mm lens i was able to capture some pretty decent shots. When it tried to do some Macro shots it always flew away so this was not possible unfortunately.

I am looking forward to next year in the spring where i plan to take some pictures of lyncindae again in Lower Austria. I hope i am able to finde some of these beautiful butterflies, but they are not so easy to spot because of their small size.
