This is my thousandth post. There was a huge surge in the price of STEEM this morning which brought my estimated account value to $14.68.

My account crossed the 100,000 VESTS mark yesterday; So, I should be a redfish. So, I downloaded a picture ofa redfish from Big Stock Photo for this post.

I've made almost a penny and a half per post and have raked in $0.056 per day. This is more than anyone else would pay for my work.

NOTE: I have found more loose change in parking lots than I earned on SteemIt.

At the present rate I should become a minnow injust 2358 days. I guess that is 6.5 years. (assuming that I don't start slowing down in my writing and that SteemIt.com doesn't belly-up)

The upvote calculator says that the 100% upvote of an account with 50,000 SP is worth $1.20. Divide by a thousand and I find that my upvote is worth $0.0012 (a tenth of a penny). My ten votes a day is worth a penny.

SteemIt Board indicates that I write about 4 comments for every post. I have received 586 replies.

I've received 1992 upvotes. Many of these upvotes came from a bot @dustsweeper. I started using busy.org so that I can get busy-bot votes. About a quarter of the upvotes I've received has been self-votes and bots.

I have received wonderful support from actual human beings ... which is better than bots.

I have upvoted 2181 times.

Here is the kicker: Assuming that the value of my upvote has been worth tenth of a penny, the total value of two thousand upvotes gave only $2.00 to the people I was trying to support. Unfortunately, a huge portion of my upvotes were washed away as dust.

I am about a decade from my upvote being worth a penny.

If you are a new user and have money; you should buy several hundred bucks worth of STEEM POWER so that your upvote is worth something.

BTW: My biggest regret so far is that I wasted a huge number of upvotes voting for myself. It is better to use upvotes for social networking.

The conclusion of my thousandth post is that people who really want to participate on the SteemIt blockchain should buy about $400 worth of STEEM so that their account works.

I love the wallet. I think it would be fun to use the wallet to sell products. I've tried selling advertising via SteemIt. I was hoping to get $0.01 CPM. I STEEM would be a great way to buy and sell ads.

I've been working on an online game that integrates STEEM. Maybe I will work on that today. Anyway, I crossed the 100,000 VESTS mark for this, post 1000.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't recommend this platform for people who don't have a spare $400 that they can risk on STEEM POWER.
