The advantages of confining pictures include:

1. giving the photograph setting (for instance confining a scene with an opening can disclose to you something about the place you are by the design of the entrance or incorporating some foliage in the frontal area of a shot can pass on a feeling of being out in nature).

2. giving pictures a feeling of profundity and layers (fundamentally confining a shot for the most part places something in the frontal area which adds an additional measurement to the shot).

3. driving the eye towards your fundamental point of convergence (a few 'casings' can draw your photograph's watcher into the photo just by their shape).
