No, no, no. This is not what they say it is.
India's longest-running conflict is about to sign a peace accord before the monsoon season of parliament, according to media reports. What does this mean? Believe it or not, it means nothing. Just a gimmick and nothing else. In the previous case, the peace accord signed between the two parties was rendered irrelevant even before the ink dried on the paper. The same is going to be the fate of upcoming peace accord as well.
How can I say that? The answer is simple. What's on the offer is not going to be accepted even by a street dog; it's a foregone conclusion that the people will rebel and not abide by the total nonsense. Even the illegal immigrants have a better term than this. What's on the offer is, "I'll stop shooting at you, if you give your ancestral land to your sworn enemy".
This is absurd.
They simply couched the language in ways that (mis)lead the uninitiated into thinking that something's on the table.

The more substantive issue before the Centre pertains to fears of a violent reaction in Manipur Valley where there is a genuine sense of insecurity about the deal. The Centre and Manipur government are exploring ways to assure residents of Manipur Valley (which has 60% of state’s population with 10% of state’s land) that their land will be secure.
So what you're saying is, the Hindus of Manipur valley can threaten the delivery of historical justice with violence? And the Indian nation must bow down to the whim of this land thieving oppressor?

A reprehensible wordplay. What they don't want to tell you is, who is the rightful owner of the land (Manipur occupied hills). They (valley settlers) don't want to answer that simple question.
They breed like rabbits, then in addition to that, they import illegal immigrants (undocumented workers) and now they will use their population size as justification to grab someone's ancestral property (hill region), at gunpoint, just like that.
The simple question is, I'll say one more time: who was/is the rightful owner of the land since time immemorial?
Is that so hard for you to understand, Mr. Sushant singh? Isn't that what the conflict is about?
