MC: What would you do with 100Million Naira

Me: I would buy Bitcoin, I would buy Steem.

I attended a business summit yesterday and when asked what I would do with 100Million Naira, all I could think of, all that came to my mind was Crypto. I couldn't literally think of anything else and for real if you put 100Million Naira in my bank account at that instant, I wouldn't even give it a second thought. I would buy Bitcoin, I would buy Steem. I've always wanted to be a Crypto whale. I won't invest anything short of the entire amount into Crypto because I know that in a short while I could double that money and use the profits to do whatever I want.

Money is a doubles game. These days all I can think of is "how can I double my money". I believe that it's easy to make money. Especially in this age of Cryptocurrency. What I feel is difficult is sustaining wealth and creating lasting value. It's easy to make money because money is hacked. Money is supposed to be a consequence of the value we produce but today that is not the case. Money is cheap. Value is expensive. Go for value. In the end, money will always flow towards the direction of value.

No Longer a Slave to Fear

One of the things I like about her teaching is the way she started. For me, the best part of the meeting was when she prayed and sang a song by Jonathan and Mellisa Helser titled: No Longer Slaves. I have embedded a youtube video of the song below for your viewing pleasure.

One of the things I learned is that sometimes, we let our own wisdom and self-righteousness get the best of us. We judge ourselves and put ourselves down. We let our fears get the bests of us. Like when is a position we say, "Oh, that position is not for me because I'm not good enough." Then we allow people who are less qualified than us to take that position and qualify themselves by taking it.

I fear too much. I think too much. This is one of my greatest woes. Before I make a move, I would have calculated all the bad things that could happen. That is why I like people like @ejemai. @ejemai would say: -"don't think about it too much. Just do it. If you think too much, you limit yourself."* How many times have you missed an opportunity because you felt you were not good enough? The truth is that there is no one who is good enough. No one is perfect. No one knows everything. Don't ever discount your own knowledge or look down on yourself. You are the world's greatest version of yourself. Act like it.

It's okay to fail. It's okay to make mistakes. In schools we get punished for making mistakes but that not good enough because it makes us detest mistakes. Mistakes are a crucial part of our learning process and if we don't learn how to leverage on them and if we don't see the beauty of mistakes; If we detest them and fear them we shortchange ourselves.

There are many things I learned from this business summit and it amazes me that what I'm more keen to write about are the little things that were not really the highlights of the summit.

The little things in life are important. To succeed in life, you have to pay attention to details. You have to behave properly. You have to give respect to whom it is due and observe the necessary protocol. Saying "Hi" to someone superior to you is not the appropriate way to address them especially in a formal setting. "Thank you" is very different from "Thanks". When you address elderly people and people in authority the right way, you leave a good impression. Don't become too familiar with people.
Don't go about saying "hi" or "thanks" to people in authority or elderly people especially in a formal setting.

The program was based on a Q and A format. I desperately wanted to ask Mrs. Ibukun Awosika to tell us her opinion of blockchains and cryptocurrencies but I didn't get the chance.

This is one of the best business summits I've attended. Ibukun Awosika is such a mother. She is a blessing to this generations and generations to comes.
