in #busy6 years ago (edited)

A month ago I posted the invitation and some information about the exhibition in Viechtach MAGICAL DREAMS IV - INVITATION.

This is a travelling exhibition organized by the GALLERY BATOR in Poland.

A very nice event and obviously very nice people. I like the topic dreams a lot and think about how we all live in our own dream world daily.

Thanks for these posts, for introducing us to all these amazing artists. I see some names I recognize from steem in this exhibition, and there is one that really captivated me with a very interesting style: Alen Kopera. I enjoyed his gallery a lot, especially the pictures with the fiery subject.

Great stuff as always Otto!!

thank you very much!

By the way, a weird coincidence (or synchronicity)... just saw a post reblogged by someone I follow, and it features a picture by Mr Kopera without any attribution: https://busy.org/@maxigan/we-need-a-better-plan
The painting is in the artist's gallery:

I've known him for many years and he is featured in my Visionary Art Gallery. Since you mentioned it, I checked his page and found, like the rest of the website, that the elimination of Flash by our private network wrecked havoc. This here was a prompt to fix his page: https://www.vagallery.com/tomasz-alen-kopera.html ..... a handful down, 500 more to go, which should keep me busy for considerable time (as if I had nothing else to do, but that is my "baby" since 2009). As far as credits are concerned: a bad habit to lift artwork without attribution. Happens all the time, and the worse culprit is Facebook. Instead of sharing, people even download, and then upload pictures without giving the artist credit.

Been there last weekend with @patschwork. Really a great exhibition with beautiful art! We also visited @reinhard-schmid and his wife at their Cafe in Viechtach. Way to spend an afternoon. That's what this whole steemit community is all about!
