Steempeak The Best Interface???steemCreated with Sketch.

Steemit.com still gets a lot of traffic. When it comes to interfaces, it is still the leader by a wide margin. The only problem is, to me, it looks like something out of the 1990s. The webpage, after more than two years, looks like a MVP. We know that few resources were dedicated to it over the years and it shows.

Thus, I figured I would do a write up about this application and the @steempeak project.

The nice thing about Steempeak is the options. This is really an interface that allows for customization.

Let us look at the feed:

There are three layout options which can be changed by the blue box in the first image:

One of the nicest features is the analytics which is found under your username in the upper right hand corner and "tools" on the drop down menu.

As you can see, all relevant data is in a handy place. Voting power, curation and author rewards, votes (incoming and outgoing), and commenting are all there.

There are an assortment of other features under this area located on the left. One thing I want to highlight is the ability to bookmark pages. This is a very handy feature when you consider the pace which one's feed can change and how much is lost before you get a chance to read it. This helps to alleviate that.

The wallet is real handy. It allows for powering up. What I like is there is an explanation of the different Steem assets on the left hand side. This is ideal for newer people who are often confused by STEEM, SBD, RC, and SP. We also see the ability to filter out what appears on the transaction window on the lower right.

Another great feature is located on the profile pages. When clicking the "Actions" we get a nice drop down. Here is the ability to Delegate SP right from the interface. Also, and even more important, if you are tired of a spammer, simply hit the "Mute" button and they no longer appear. It is a fabulous way to get rid of the excess noise that takes place.

The final area to highlight is the icons in the upper right next to one's username. There is one to write a post. We also have an action queue where certain activities to be taken will show up. Finally, there is the notification icon that shows you how many activities pertaining to your account took place. This includes upvotes, transfers, and comments.

It is vital to note that Steempeak is going to be the first interface to receive the new Communities feature created by @shredz7. There was a discussion about this on the State of Steem this week with @shredz7 and @jarvie both commenting on it. The bottom line is that feature if very close to being integrated into the app. We should see it in the next few weeks.

Steempeak offers a lot to the end user. To me, it is one of the more feature rich interfaces for desktop. The layout is easy to navigate with a low learning curve. Navigating around for about 5 minutes will give one a good feel for the app.

I suggest everyone give it a try. Plus, as a lover of decentralization, supporting other interfaces only makes them more powerful. We all should be supporting as many applications as we can.

Totally agree, one of my first posts was" Why Steempeak it's better than Steemit" in Italian 😉

Sei sempre un passo avanti, Erika: bravissima! B-)

I think peakmonsters (i think thats the website) is worth checking ou as well if you are a player of steemmonsters

Yes PeakMonsters is a much better market interface than on Steem Monsters itself. It’s great that in a decentralized environment you can have many competitive market interfaces to the same market.

I am not a gamer but from what I hear it is a very interesting feature.

You should do a post about Peakmonsters as well in the Future. It is the first fully functional NFT Market with Ask and Bid Prices, Total Supply Data of the cards and a build in monetary system (peakcredits). Its worth talking about it since no other platform has such a rich trading platform for NFTs.

Another thing I love is the way you can easily send STEEM or delegate to people with one click on their profile page. I've been using Steempeak since August and it gets better every week. Even the mobile version is nice.

You are right. This made me to even use steempeak more. The design and the added features looks great

Yeah man, I love SteeemPeak. The only part I don't like is the daily limits on uploads. But that is easy enough to work around.

I really like that you don't have to leave the site to watch d.tube videos like you do (or did, haven't been there in a while) on steemit. And the scrolling pics in your feed without visiting the post is convenient too.

I've been using steem peak for a long time now, I even changed it to my default interface on Gina bot. It works really well on the phone as well, and I think not putting a big dollar sign next to posts garners the right kind of culture. Also built in sbd conversion is pretty useful.

I simply love @steempeak... thanks for spreading its features and its beauty!

A huge hug from @amico!

You forgot to mention the ability to schedule posts as well which is great! Their interface to create posts is also visually helpful as they use a side by side view. They are here to stay and would imagine that they can attract much more than others in the ecosystem.
