Wow, I haven’t thought about this before but I would imagine that each AI robot would have its own interpretation of what is going on based on its current advancement. Maybe it’s represtaion would change over time just as human’s interpretations would.
If a AI has "it's own interpretation" couldn't you call it sentience? I think it's just messing with the Image.. Stick a Potato into this AI and still it will modify it.
