Sorry to hear your father in law is not doing well. It also sounds like the rest of the family isn't doing that well either. It is a real shame they can't at least wait until he passes to start dividing up his belongings and then to try and "one up" each other is ridiculous, do they not know that they actually know each other and have for a long time?
