Yichang – Creating true friendships – Part 10

Arriving in Yichang I met a cool Polish couple in the hostel. With no real plans we decided to hang out together visiting The Three Gorges Dam, a hydroelectric dam that spans the Yangtze River. The area not as nice as I’d imagined but the dam was pretty good as nothing could mask the sheer size of it.

Together we found a great place to eat – it had photos of food with accompanying prices, it soon became my local as it always helps when you have some idea of what you are eating!
With exhaustion beginning to set in I decided to take the next day quite steady but soon got bored of walking around and decided to check out some caves nearby with a long restful bus journey.
