Hello my dear friends and readers of my blog. Today I want to invite you for an exciting journey. We go to this mysterious military dungeon. Arpad's bunker is the military object of the Hungarian Royal Army during the Second World War.

Привіт мої любі друзі і читачи мого блогу. Сьогодні я хочу запросити вас у цікаву подорож. Ми вирушаємо у справжнє таємниче військове підземелля. Бункер лінії Арпада це військовий об'єкт Угорської Королівської Армії часів другої світової війни.

Have you ever thought about what the mountains conceal? I was always interested in finding different caves, grottoes, and more. So when I learned about this bunker, we immediately went there. The Arpad line of bunkers is located in Transcarpathia in the village of Verkhnya Hrabivnitsa. For a long time, the bunker was in an abandoned state. Over time, they were hired by initiative people, cleared it and opened it to people.

Чи замислювались ви коли-небудь над тим, що приховують гори? Мені було завжди цікаво знаходити різні печери, гроти, тощо. Тож, коли я дізналася про цей бункер ми відразу вирушили туди. Бункер лінії Арпада знаходиться на Закарпатті в селі Верхній Грабівниці. Довгий час бункер був у занедбаному стані. З часом його взяли в оренду ініціативні люди, розчистили його і відкрили для людей.

We are approaching the location. We are met by a large concrete structure with an iron door. In order to be interesting we take the guide. The story of the bunker is interesting and full of riddles. Interestingly, the bunker was built in great secrecy, even the locals did not know what would be there. But people saw that something was happening and then they were told that there would be a military hospital there. The hospital really was with a separate entrance. The hospital had dentistry and surgery.

Під'їжджаємо до місця розташування. Нас зустрічає велика бетонна споруда із залізними дверима. Для того, щоб було цікаво ми беремо екскурсовода. Розповідь про бункер цікава і повна загадок. Цікаво те, що бункер будувався у великій таємності, навіть місцеві жителі не знали, що тут буде. Але люди бачили, що щось відбувається і тоді їм сказали, що тут буде військовий шпиталь. Шпиталь дійсно був з окремим входом. У шпиталі була стоматологія та хірургія.

Also in the bunker was a separate room for generators, warehouses, barracks, ventilation shafts, an officer's room. Currently, we can see only a half kilometer of bunker. The whole bunker stretches about 15 km, but clearing passes is further dangerous. Passages can be mined.

Також у бункері була окрема кімната для генераторів, склади, казарма, вентиляційні шахти, офіцерська кімната. Наразі ми можемо побачити тільки півтора кілометра бункера. Весь бункер тягнеться приблизно 15 км, але розчищати проходи далі дуже небезпечно. Проходи можуть бути заміновані.

The bunker impressed me a lot. It seems that the inside is already empty and there are no warehouses with ammunition, no military, but you pass between the crude walls and understand that there was once a war. In one of the passages there is a small museum of military finds. Black archaeologists today find something in the mountains and bring it as a present to the museum.

Бункер мене дуже вразив. Ніби-то всередині вже порожньо і нема складів з боєприпасами, нема військових, але ти проходиш між сирими стінами і розумієш, що тут колись була війна. В одному з проходів є невеликий музей військових знахідок. Чорні археологи по сьогоднійшній день щось знаходять в горах і приносять в подарунок до музею.

The most interesting fact is that the bunker worked only two weeks. Then, on the order of Stalin, the bunker closed and conserved all moves. Most of the objects were completely destroyed. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the vandals began to steal everything that could be stolen. Everything that was in the barracks and in the bunkers was carried out and sold as a scrap. There were beds, armored doors, washbasins, cables and pipes.

Самим цікавим фактом є те, що бункер пропрацював лише два тижні. Тоді за наказом Сталіна бункер закрили і законсервували всі ходи. Більшість об'єктів була повністю знищена. Після розпаду радянського союзу вандали почали розкрадати все, що можна було вкрасти. Все, що було в казармах і в бункерах винесли і продали як металобрухт. Тут були ліжка, броньовані двері, умивальники, кабелі та труби.

We leave the bunker. Get up next to the mountain. Here we can see one of the exits from the bunker. This is DOT 2 (long fire point). The entry has been blown up. There are only concrete structures left.

Виходимо з бункеру. Підіймаємось поруч на гору. Тут ми можемо побачити один із виходів з бункера. Це ДОТ 2 (довготривала вогнева точка). Вхід був підірваний. Залишились тільки бетонні конструкції.

And around the mountain and the beauty of nature. Who would have thought that there were once fighting, shooting and grief.

А навколо гори і краса природи. Хто б міг подумати, що тут колись були бої, стрілянина і горе.
