Julian was conceived in Constantinople in 331 as the posterity of Julio Costanzo and nephew of the chief Constantine el Unico. After the death of May 337, Constantine, who had begun the Christian area to change his uncle, Giuliano Cugini, was the line between them, even though almost nothing was more lively, in harmony.

The imperial fame of Constance, the second posterity of Constantine, was the fundamental progress in the acquisition and execution of most of its cousins, with the exception of Julian and his half-brother Galo.
