Writing good daily posts on Steemit is highly recommended to everyone for success and as I take on that challenge, (this is my 7th post in 6 days) I realize that there is one useful thing I do that deserve to be recommended more often. So here is my special advice to newcomers:

Use files to organize important information about Steemit.

In your journey on Steemit, you will come across lots of great information that can help you make the most out of your Steemit experience. Unfortunately, Steemit doesn't offer any filing system to store this vital information in a way that makes it easy to retrieve. So you need to use something. I recommend Docs. It's on all Android phones and it looks like this:

I recommend creating several files as the more organized you are the easier your task will be.

My latest file is this:

In that file, my planning file I plan to simply jolt down ideas for posts as they may come during my day. That's because inspiration doesn't always appear when you have time to write a post.

In the next file, Steemit Trail, I keep all relevant information about any bot I may use, people I may upvote automatically or any delegation of Steem I am involved in.

In the last file, Steemit Instructions, I keep links to tutorials that better explain Steemit, such as how to use the Editor. I keep links to apps that help you know better about what is going on in Steemit such as who re-steemed your posts, followers coming or going, keeping track of your earnings, etc. I also keep links to my personalized signature that I will use at the end of my post.

In conclusion, this suggestion to keep Steemit files is certainly something that many of you are doing already. But when you come from a different platform such as Face Book where you don't need to organize yourself as much I think it's good that someone tells you that you need to take charge here and that using files will really help along the way.
