I enjoyed your post. You touch on a good many important points concerning the economics involved in playing the game as well as collecting the cards as an investment.

Having just recently started playing, I am still learning tactics in the battles (I could just kick my own but for short selling my Alpha Cards collection). Sometimes I get lucky, but have not reached the coveted Gold League yet. These things take time and I am not the sharpest crayon in the box!

Did I mention I am a member of the best Guild in the @splinterlands: SPIRIT ANIMALS. I heard through the grapevine that some membership slots may be opening up today. If you do not belong to a Guild, you might like to check ours out. They are a great bunch of folks!
