ONE PIECE
One Piece tells of the adventures of a boy named Monkey D. Luffy who aspires to be a pirate king and finds "One Piece" after being inspired by Shanks. About 22 years before the story began, a pirate named Gol D. Roger, or better known as a pirate king was executed in public. Just before his death, he announced to the crowd about his possessions, One Piece, which claimed to be the greatest treasure ever.
Roger's death triggered the start of the "Golden Age of the Pirate Age", marked by the fall of many pirates to countless treasures. Luffy is one of those who intend to find One Piece and become the next pirate king, get out to sea to start his adventure and start collecting some crew as a companion.
