Steemit social network forced to separate 70% of its employees
Steemit, the social network designed around STEEM's digital asset, was forced to lay off nearly 70% of its employees because of the fall of the crypto-markets.
In an article published on the platform, Ned Scott, his CEO and co-founder, presented the reasons for this collective dismissal:
Due to the weakness of crypto-markets, the amounts in trust currencies that we cash through the automated sale of STEEM assets have decreased. Also because of the increasing costs of managing full-fledged Steem, we were forced to lay off nearly 70% of our workforce, "wrote the leader.

Sad news but necessary adjustment in lean times.
