POEM: HARPOON
Your speech enters
Like a lock pick
You speak to me and hear
The secrets I’ve tucked
Like a migrated duck
Reclusive relics warm the ear
Your powder white harpoon
Slips through my torso
A gaze maze exits the rear
Your sulky smile
Waits me out
And I protect what is dear
