If you have migraines, beware of this situation
The migraine that causes irresistible aches and pains is an enemy of the heart. Those suffering from migraine were found to have a high risk of developing cardiovascular disease, paralysis and heart attack.
Over a period of 19 years in Denmark, over 500,000 people have been evaluated and it has been found that the risk of heart attack and heart rhythm disorder is 1.5 times greater in 51-migraine patients.
Migraine is among the leading causes of headache in the world.
In the same study, it is stated that the risk of stroke is twice as high as those who have migraines. Studies have shown that people with migraines are more likely to have a stroke. Though there is no clear reason for this, they think that the blood clotting rate of the migraine patients is increased, the blood flow of the brain is decreased and the vascular structure is broken.
Experts especially emphasize that people with migraine have a high risk of heart attack when they are added to other findings such as smoking, stress and poor nutrition, and that getting away from this risk should not hinder cardiovascular control
It is clear headaches will cause other health problems as well. More important is to find the reason why someone has migraine. Why? Because migraine itself is NOT a disease but the result of something else that is going on (or wrong).
