You can vote but itll drain your rc. Steemitblog just said that theyll roll out an update thatll make the actions cheaper. If things work perfectly we should be back to normal next week
Hey there man, long time no talk, hope all is well.
In regards to "equilibrium", what this is meaning is that the current RC costs for various actions [ posts, likes, etc. ] are not final. They are quite high and expensive right now, but they should lower over the course of the next week or so.
As more people return to their normal [ or normal-ish ] behavior, the network will be able to better determine how much these actions should cost. Right now it considers all of them very expensive, but over time it'll get better at understanding what the true bandwidth cost of each action will be.
Hard times from this hardfork for sure, but Steem will overcome ;)

i'm concerned that this is not the first time steemit inc blatantly lied to us. i also realized that steemit inc can control those prices however they want to by changing the rc budget/pool.
for now we might even need the centralization to get the platform going. but in the long term, as long as steemit inc continues to dictate everything, steem will never be mainstream.
hopefully the community would be strong enough to get together and go for more decentralization but that might be my wishful thinking 😌

@roundbeargames, Yes, on some points we cannot agree what is going on but in my opinion everything is new stuff and for sure the issues which occur in Blockchain System are pretty new so, as you said we have to wait and watch where we go in future.
yes that's a good point. the very idea of blockchains is still new, let alone a social platform built on top.
@steemitblog just announced they'll be increasing the resource budget by 10x. i'm not exactly sure if it means that everybody will now have 10x rc or they're referring to something else. but it's the right direction imo since a big % of minnows have so little rc they can barely use the platform.
@roundbeargames, Yes, i am really waiting to see the future and want to analyse how these changes and updates will behave, just hoping that it will not move towards the negative side because we have invested day and night oil and efforts towards this community. Stay blessed. 🙂
one thing i'm afraid is that it's already going in the negative direction because steemit inc wasn't honest in the beginning. they said it's a 'success' when most people were simply locked out. we could've had the exact same results but would be more patient if they simply told us the truth 'there're some serious issues but we're working on them'.
at least i'm glad they realized that minnows are completely locked out. let's hope the patch works.
In my opinion, I've not read any update part because the results we are experiencing already, but without reading any update post in my opinion they may be used Success word for the Installation or Upgradation of Hardfork 20 because before 25th they said that there are possibilities that after Hardfork 20 system can misbehave and if anything happens team will try to work it as soon as possible. So, i am waiting for the end of this 5 days estimation and then will going to analyse. And whatever you writing and talking i want to appreciate that because you are talking about overall economy, and it can open the eyes of people who are thinking that my issue solved. But we are an community and everyone's contribution help this community to grow so, we have to see the overall subject and we have to a situation where everyone can access the Blockchain.
