Brandenburg Gate, Germany !!
Brandenburg Gate is one of the best-known landmarks of Germany. Built in 18th-century by Prussian king Frederick William II.
This Gate was the scene of the official ceremony to mark the reunification of East Germany and West Germany in October 1990.
The gate was one of the damaged structures survived in World War II in 1945. From bullets and nearby explosions Brandenburg gate was badly damaged with holes in the columns. One horse’s head from the original monument survived and now it's in the Museum.
At a cost of six million euros it was privately refurbished on 21 December 2000 and opened once again for the visitors on 3 October 2002.
