Racing observer Carlo Pernat predicted the 2018 MotoGP title might be faster to find the world champion. That's because the superiority of points Marc Marquez in MotoGP.

Marquez kept away from his rival after scoring three straight wins.

"The championship is likely to close early, given Marquez's lead," said Pernat, while analyzing the MotoGP title this season as quoted from GPOne on Thursday (24/05/2018).

Marquez currently occupies the top position with 95 points achievement. The Baby Alien rider was 40 points ahead of Maverick Vinales who trailed in second place.

Before Marquez won the championship in MotoGP France, Repsol Honda rider was pessimistic. That's because the report card is not good when racing on the track along the 4.2 km.

But fate says something else. Marquez successfully ended the thirst of victory at Le Mans Circuit. Pernat explained if this is a rare phenomenon when a racer who has a red report card actually look impressive.

The reason, said Pernat, Marquez able to equal the record of 38 victories belonging to Casey Stoner while appearing on the track that is considered less than ideal for teammate Dani Pedrosa.

"There are two aspects in which I want to analyze.I compare Stoner with Marquez.Casey is good because he wins, but also bad because with his bike, built on himself, the others are always fighting and many racers have failed.Robs, however, considering the superpower of Marc, the possibility no longer has a second racer, "he said.

Because of the superiority of Marquez, many racers are reluctant to be his companion at Repsol Honda. Carlos Pernat assess anyone who replaced the racer Dani Pedrosa would be difficult out of the shadow of Marquez.

Pernat stressed not many riders who want to partner with Marquez. Johann Zarco might be used as an example when he turned and chose the KTM team.

On one occasion Zarco once said that to fight Marquez does not need to be on the same team. And, the French driver was convinced KTM motor capable of rival Marquez speed.

This is a real picture that Honda is still difficult to give confidence to their second racer. So no wonder if Dani Pedrosa always used as a tool to mendompleng Marquez career.

"Honda should adopt a policy to recruit young drivers, because otherwise it would be risky when too give full confidence to Marc," said Pernat as quoted from GPOne, Thursday (24/05/2018).
