Today we will get to know about the Active Key

The owner key gives full control over your Steem account.It is the most valuable key that you always need to preserve at any cost.As this key can do all the things that the almost the other keys can do aka the Master Password.

With this key an USER is able to

• Post
• vote
• Transfer funds
• vote for witnesses
• powering up/powering down Steem Power,
• Change all keys including being able to change the Active key

It is suggested that you use your Owner key only in times necessary ,as for normal uses you can use your Posting keys so that even the Posting Key is lost or hacked no permanent damage can be done.

Where can you find the Active Key?
It can be found in the Blog of your Steemit account.Than go to wallet next step is permission and than you will see the Active key (It is the public key) then log in and you will get the Private Active Key of yours.
