Enjoying Some Excellent Dim Sum at "Baozi Inn" / “人民公社” 的特色点心

I have visited numerous dim sum establishments in London but Baozi Inn is by far one of my favourite places to go. The food quality is top notch, with friendly staff and a nice cozy environment. The restaurant was also featured and recommended in Good Food magazine this year.

I took one of my friends there last week and she was super impressed. Baozi Inn is located in Romilly Street right in the heart of Central London. The restaurant is not big in size. I would say a bit narrow in places but nicely decorated with dark wood, candles and various pictures showing lots of Chinese cultured elements. It gets quite busy at peak times and weekends, so I would definitely recommend to book in advance.

Baozi Inn specialises in spicy Sichuan styled cuisine as well as a great selection of dim sum and street food. However unlike traditional dim sum, they use natural colorants such as turmeric and beetroot juice to make vivid colours layered over their dim sum. That’s quite creative, I must say!

My friend and I had a dim sum feast including assorted Xiao Long Bao, ruby prawn dumpling, chive dumplings and meat skewers. Not only did everything look very attractive, but they were all super tasty too!

We also tried out their famous “Dan Dan Noddle” and oh my godness, these noodles were coated in a spicy Szechuan pepper sauce that tickled my taste buds like you wouldn't believe. This dish was about as good as any other Dan Dan Noodle I’ve ever eaten, either in London or China. And in case you're wondering, that's a huge compliment their way. Definitely deserving of a big special shout out, haha.

Baozi Inn is the perfect place for a casual meet up with friends and family. I could not recommend this place highly enough. Just for the food alone is more than enough reason to give this place a try when in the area. Enjoy!

我尝过伦敦不少家Dim Sum店，“人民公社” 餐馆是我最喜欢的其中一家。他们家食物的质量非常棒，加上舒适的环境和友好的服务，广受欢迎，还成为美食杂志“Good Food”推荐的餐馆之一！上周我和朋友去”人民公社” 美美地享受了一顿，朋友吃得很欢，说是她在伦敦吃过最好的中餐，呵呵。

“人民公社” 位于伦敦市中心的Romilly街。餐馆空间不大，但装修得挺有特色，包含了许多中国元素。这里平时晚上高峰时间过来都要排队，周末就更不用说了。所以我会建议大家提前预约。

这家店菜式主打辛辣的四川口味和各种街头特色Dim Sum美食。比起传统Dim Sum ，他们特别使用蔬菜的天然色素做出各种颜色鲜艳的 Dim Sum , 十分有创意！

我和朋友吃了一顿丰盛的点心大餐，有不同口味的小笼包，红宝石虾饺子，韭菜饺子和牛肉串串香等。这些 Dim Sum 不但看起来很有吸引力，吃起来更是美味可口，很赞！

我们还尝了他们家的招牌之一 “担担面”，那味道的确正宗。面条爽滑，口感很有嚼劲，那香辣可口的味道让你吃得停不下口来！这面和我在国内吃得并无两样，很值得推荐！
