DOING WRONG THING FOR THE RIGHT REASON

Great Minds,
This has been bothering me of late, I feel I should share with this great platform, sometimes we engaged in certain situations or things we know fully well are morally wrong just to protect a just cause or to save a situation. For instance we tell a lie to save someone or we even go to the extent of killing either to stop being killed or protect others lives. My point is how do you feel finding yourself in such situations either as the direct offender or a beneficiary of the action. This article presents such scenarios and seek opinions and best reactions when faced with such conditions.

DOING WRONG THINGS
I have discovered that most wrong acts are not intended and when intended are not for wrong reasons. In other words, a lot of evil acts are reactions for right intentions such as to save or prevent things from getting worse. There are several factors that influence the type of things we do, putting it together, there are different types of wrong or say bad stuff we do. Some are acted out of ignorance while others are in reactions to some circumstances so much so that it become unavoidable than to do bad just to get things right. Yes situations abound where wrong acts saved the day. Where to do wrong is the only way out. However, before you celebrate this note that there is the tendency that the wrong you are trying to do to fix things can go worse.
Let me try and paint a picture of what I am struggling to get straight. Take a look at these instances;

1. A man killed another man because he suspected he was about to rape his daughter.
2. You told a lie that your Father was not around to prevent him from being lynched by hoodlums
3. You stole a file from your office, a file that would have ended your career in the company.
4. You jumped rules to win a contest when ordinarily it would have been otherwise.
5. You beat someone in order to save another.
   And so on, a lot of bad things we do for perhaps the right reasons to us.
   WHY DO WE DO WRONG THINGS FOR RIGHT REASONS
   Most times we seemed worried and ghost strike afterwards, when the deeds had been done, it becomes a problem within us, no rest of mind and the feelings become devastating. My point is why the disturbed conscience if what we did was for the right reasons.
   So these are the questions in my mind that crave answers;
   How do we place it. The challenge is most of these actions sometimes we're unavoidable and seemed the only way out. So if that is true, why then we have problems after doing it. Can we just condemn it on moral grounds. What are the legal backings, I mean is it proper to do wrong things for the right reasons? If not what then shall we do when faced with these challenges. Allow the evils to take place? Take the shame sometimes and suffer the consequences of our actions? Even when we can take action to avoid them?.
   I really will appreciate our various responses to this. But one thing stands out and perhaps it is the reason for disturbed conscience, wrong is wrong. Yes no matter how much we try to embellish it. Let's think of the right way to every of our challenges and we will be happy we did.
