Hong Kong is dubbed as a city never sleeps. When it comes to night life, loads of entertainment await you. From dining out, singing your heart out at a karaoke club, going to a blockbuster film, clubbing and shaking to big beats, to boozing at a pub. You name it, Hong Kong almost has it.

香港被稱為一座不夜城。當談到夜生活時，大量的娛樂活動等著你。從卡拉OK唱出你的心，去看電影，泡吧跳舞，去酒吧喝酒。你說出來，香港幾乎都有。

But wait a second, endless nights out? Are you kidding me? What’s for those “grounded” at home (a.k.a. Married people).

但是等一下，真的有無盡的夜生活？你在跟我開玩笑嗎？那些在家中被「關」的人（又名已婚人士）有什麼夜生活？

You’re in the right place, this is where you can get a load of what night life really is for those “grounded” at home. I’m giving you a brief taste of what it’s like from a married geezer’s point of view.

你是在正確的地方，你可以在知道那些在家有夜生活的人一般在做什麼。從一個已婚大叔的身份，我簡單介紹一下。

My nightlife 我的「夜生活」

At about 6:00pm, it begins with some story reading and simple written homework with the kid, that don’t go beyond 30 minutes.

「夜生活」在6時。它開始是與孩子做一些故事閱讀和與簡單的書面作業，整個不會超過30分鐘。

At about 6:45 pm, supper time. For a family of three, two to three local Cantonese dishes with some rice for supper are good enough. Veggies and some meat can’t be missed. We don’t use individual plates, forks or knives but bowls and chopsticks. Everyone has an own bowl and chopsticks but only plates with veggies and meat on are shared. A ritual goes like we scoop up some rice into a bowl from a rice cooker, lay those plates with veggies and meat on a dining table, sit around, grab some veggies and meat with own chopsticks off the plates. A usual Asian table culture completely different from western ones.

晚餐大約開始在6:45。對於三口之家來說，2-3份廣東菜式和一些米飯作為晚餐就夠了。蔬菜和一些肉是不能不的。我們不用盤子，叉子或刀子，而是用碗和筷子。每個人都有自己的碗和筷子，但蔬菜和肉類的盤子是共享的。我們從電飯煲把一些米飯放入碗中，在盤上放上蔬菜和肉，然後放在桌子上，再用筷子從盤子裡選出一些蔬菜和肉。這是通常的亞洲餐桌文化與西方的完全不同。

Dishes are shared in Asia where the culture of sharing and eating together is nothing new. Spinach and water cress, high in vitamins. We love them. 餸是沒有分碟的。我們喜歡吃菜

1.5 hours after supper, grownups do the washing up and have some sips of tea while the kid plays a bit more with toys and has some apple or orange juice.

1.5 小時後，成年人飲飯後洗碗，再喝點茶，而孩子玩多點玩貝及喝點蘋果或橙汁。

A post-supper ritual 喝茶是必要

We take turns for bath and watch some telly while waiting turns.

我們輪流洗澡，在輪流等候時看點電視。

We can catch some TLC on telly after supper, I love watching anything on cooking, travel, and food 我喜歡飯後看旅遊及飲食節目

The kid goes to bed at around 9pm and grownups have more telly or internet. Grownups go to bed usually no later than 12.

孩子在晚上9點左右睡覺，大人們看多點地電視或上網。通常不晚於12點睡覺。

I can't call it a night without some STEEMIT 來點stemmit 吧

Nightlife of mine is fixed but very peaceful. Isn’t it tame for you party animals? This is the usual night life you probably will have after your marriage.

這「夜生活」是固定的，但非常和平。對你們派對常客來説是否很沈悶嗎？這是你婚後可能會有的平常「夜生活」。
