OK, I've been pondering "what would I ask if I had the movers and shakers on a call". It's a working draft, but figured it would be worth sharing.
Questions for the group

#1

With the explosive growth of DTube and of the OneLoveDTube community, what do you most want people just getting started to know?

#2

How should people think about the lifecycle of content on DTube? Specifically what I'm asking is that I've seen a lot of YouTubers talk about the grind. They put in a lot of hard work without getting any attention on that YouTube, and then one day things take off and they have a huge library of video that earns them money long after it was published. The economics seem to be different here, so when a DTuber talks about the grind, how does that work?

#3

Do you have any particular strategy regarding timing of posting and promoting? This may be more than one question. There is the simple aspect of "what time is best to publish?", and I would love to hear your thoughts on that. Beyond just the simple cycle of what time of day, I've run into a bit of frustration with uploading a video and wanting to promote it, only to find out that it is not playable.

#4

How do you balance your time with all the activities on DTube? Specifically, spending time on discord, watching other people's stuff, commenting on DTube or Steemit and creating a show on top of that. Most people aren't making a living doing this, what's important to focus on?

#5

Is there a time that you shoot for in final video length, and what do you find works best?

#6

I sometimes find myself sometimes wanting to go into too much detail. How do you balance telling a story against keeping something watchably short?

#7

Do you have a process for producing your videos? Scripted vs. Extemporaneous, how much time in editing, what kind of tools do you find most useful?

#8

What are the key things you think about when you're getting ready to record?
