The kitten was sick and Darynka was infected with a ringworm! But he's not to blame :)

Yeah. That happens a lot. Many kitties have a couple of diseases that only affect children. The older cats are already naturally vaccinated against them.
Thankfully, none of those are serious. Just uncomfortable for a while.
I'm sure Darynka will recover quickly. And she is leaving this experience with her immunity system strengthened! 😃

What a sweet little kitten! That photo of Darynka holding the sleeping kitten is adorable. But yes, street cats can have all sorts of ailments... fortunately, they are typically easy to treat.
