This movie had me remembering and thinking a lot about my high school days and friends. I had friends that i thought i would never part with, but life happens you know and when it does, it comes with its own challenges and ofcourse, new friends. Although i still see some of my high school mates that were best friends that are still best friends till now, well, i'd say they are lucky. Little Bitches is a comedy of real life scenarios.

It's a story of 3 girls Anna, Marisa and Kelly, who in their freshman year made a promise to each other not to be like the mean girls clique seniors that they egged for trying to bully them into sucking a huge banana, they also promised that they will open their college letters together on the night of their final party in school. Fast Forward to years later, they are now seniors and life has happened..

Kelly is now in the mean girls clique, Marissa's parents are divorced, we are made to believe that she left town for 2 years and returned, it's just she and Anne now. It's their final day in school, and the whole students have opened their college letters except the three girls. Kelly can's seem to open hers even though she has new friends. Anne still believes that Kelly cares for them and suggests that they still wait till the party which is that night, Marissa don't care about Kelly, she is possessive of Anne as the later is the one she has and she doesn't want Kelly to come between but she agrees to wait anyway.
It's their final day and everyone is talking about the party but unfortunately circumstances of that day seems to draw the girls further apart.

While the plot i good and the lead actors are fun to watch, the movie left a bunch of loopholes.. There is no clear explanation of what happened to the girls, why is Kelly not in the group anymore? What did Marissa do to make her join the mean girls clique? Why does she have to communicate to Anne through Marissa? Does she not have Anne's number? if not, why? Also, how did a black girl, who wears same jacket, in a little town rob a store and not get caught? These questions are left unanswered. The Roles of the adult is either not funny or plain annoying, Kent, the officer that is bent on destroying the students plan of having their final party. I get that its a comedy movie but Kent is not funny, the character is just uncomfortable, especially the part where he threatened an innocent boy with being fucked in the ass in jail, now that's offensive and every attempt Director Kreiss made for that character to fit in kept setting the movie back. I must commend Kate Berlant, playing the role of the vulgar counselor, her performance added colour to the movie. Jennett McCurdy's performance is so on point, her Annie is someone you just want to watch over again, watching her and Marissa discuss about their body and sexuality in a total high school way, is quite funny. Despite the monie's imperfections the 2 lead characters managed to engage the audience and it is worth the time spent.
