It is my opinion that at some point Steem will be viewed more as a utility or developers token) But no one knows for sure if that will happen and what it would look like.

I think your right on this one. The way things are going for the past couple of years I see STEEM as a backing token for all the activity in the eco-system rather than what you earn from posting. With a few million users the STEEM amounts will be tiny anyway.
