Week 37: #introduceyourself Curation Post

Another busy week given more travel that I had going on for work this time around. However, after a slow and relaxed weekend with the family and mostly away from the ecosystem, I found some energy to really get some efforts going on for curating more #introduceyourself posts. I continue to believe that fostering a strong start to the experience of new users is imperative to retain and engage them actively to make all of our experiences more sustainable. I believe that one of the best ways that I can use my stake here is supporting these users anyway I can!

This week began with an exciting post from a great user (@coruscate) that is spearheading one of the exciting projects (@steemonboarding) being developed for new users in the ecosystem. She put a great video together to make recommendations to what entails a great introduction post for new users. I agree that her recommendation have the best practices that I consider will bring attention and value to not only the accounts of the new users but also to the ecosystem in general. This demonstrates how the community will continue to work hard to educate and support the growing community for theblong term!

@mparedes is from the Caribbean island country of the Dominican Republic and is here to network and create social media relationships while trying to earn some income. While living in the country’s biggest city, he really wants to move to a more smaller and coastal city to enjoy its beaches and beauty much more. He is not one for small talks and likes to read and enjoy food. He also likes to gove back to the community and is passionate about continued learning!

@emogirl had a great introduction as she opened up for the community to get to know her as she shared a lot about here daily life ij Pakistan. She has definitely set the tone for those wanted to share their lives here like traditional social media and cats and memes were involved! She even dropped some great poetry for us! Of course she made my list because she likes Star Wars!

@srigari has caught plenty of attention given his unique introduction as he talked about hos top three failures and how they allowed him to grow through experience. Being an entrepreneur and software engineer made these failures more impactful for him but has allowed him to gain perspective on approaching other opportunities that arise. He is using this opportunity to learn to improve his communication and writing as he shares hos experiences with the community.

@geoffbarra introduced himself as bringing his 15 years of online experiences to the community to expand his network of sharing knowledge as he has continued to expand his knowledge over the years. Already being a PE and art teacher, he continued his studies in a PhD equivalent in meta-physicality and quantum physics! He loves to expand his thoughts on “reality” and intends to share views here on the platform. It was also pretty cool to see he was one of the first pioneers of the BMX sport in the 70s!

I hope this to be an evolving process to the benefit of the community so please continue providing feedback to support these and all the new users coming to the platform. I am looking forward to more new users coming and engaging with the community to solidify the social aspect of the #STEEM blockchain.
