ANTS -SMALL BUT MIGHTY. WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THEM?

in #busy6 years ago

Ants are tiny insects which sometimes go unnoticed by humans. But ants despite how small they are, can be very mighty and hardworking. No wonder the Bible even made mention of ants. At proverbs 6 : 6, it encourages the lazy ones to go to the ants, observe the ways of ant and become wise.

You may wonder how a tiny insect may be mighty and hardworking. It is so because ants have amazing qualities humans should learn from.

What can we learn from ant? What qualities do they have?

  • They work as a team - Ants work together to achieve something great. Take your time to observe the ways of ant.

  • Ants are driven by purpose - yes ants have a long term goal and they work hard to achieve that goal - that of providing food for themselves.

  • Ants prepare ahead of time - they prepare their food in summer, knowing that there will be a time when they will not be able to go out and source for their food, that is during winter time.

  • Ants have a time to rest and a time to work - This is true because they work hard during summer period and rest during winter time thereby conserving their energy for the next work ahead.

  • Ants carry workload they can handle - It is true that they are tiny insects but they carry more than 100% of their weight. Despite that, they know their limitations. They can handle even difficult situations they may come their way.

  • Ants serve one another - they are always at the service of each other, showing that they are not selfish.

We have seen the good qualities of ants. From the above qualities, I believe you can use your tongue to count your teeth in order to know how best we can imitate these tiny insects - ants.

As humans, we should see areas where we need improvement and make the needed adjustments. Infact, we should behave more like ants and include other necessary qualities.

Thanks for reading.
