Looks like a lovely restaurant and nicely set table. That’s unfornate the meal was bland. I would have thought it would have been nice & spicy from a restaurant with the name like Bedouin.
Yep it was a bit of a flop as far as some the food was concerned for half of us.
All the ingredients were there on the plate but it just didn't taste of anything? Very odd.
We still had a good time proving the old idea. Better to have good company with bad food rather than good food and bad company :-)
Yep, there are a lot of restaurants in Cambridge that are pretty dire. I see you are into drones? I lost mine in a lake last year but it was great fun while it lasted before it's death plunge. :-)
It was a cheap little drone. I bought it knowing that it would probably get destroyed. It was a way to practice before getting a more expensive DJI model wnhich we also managed to crash on the first flight lol
Sorry to hear the food wasn't up to snuff. I had a similar experience yesterday with a restaurant I had previously rather enjoyed. Could be they changed chefs or food suppliers. Maybe there is a night and day chef. That can throw a monkey wrench into things. The price seemed reasonable though for all that food and drink.
It's a bit of a mystery because it 'looked' very interesting? All the ingredients were visible but it didn't taste of anything? Four of us had the chicken and the same experience.
I wonder what chorine washed chicken tastes like lol.

Funny. I used to live in Cambridge and I would have said the the exact same about the food. The decor is cool though!

Hi Pryde, I thought the same thing about the chef. Maybe they have a stand-in Chef covering the Saturday lunch trade.
My daughter loves the place and her food was good but she had the tagine which is what the place is really known for.
We still had a good time together which was the main reason for being there.
