EDUCATION
Education applied in schools also demands to maximize cognitive skills and abilities. With such an understanding, there is actually something other than a child that is not less important that we unknowingly have been neglected. That is to provide character education to the students. Character education is important as a counterweight to cognitive skills. Some realities that we often meet together, a wealthy businessman is not generous, a politician does not care about his hungry neighbors, or a teacher is not concerned about seeing street children who do not get the opportunity to study in school. That is evidence of a lack of balance between cognitive education and character education.
