Bangabandhu Satellite has been built in France's Talis Elinya Space Facility. After the construction, examination, review and transfer, it is sent on the special cargo plane by the launch of the Cape Purchase Vehicle.
For the launch of satellites, the first date is December 16, but due to massive damage to Hurricane Arma in Florida, it is back.
After the country's first artificial satellite 'Bangabandhu-1' reached the space, it will take almost a month to bring it under full control. After finishing technical matters, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Agency (BTRC) is expected to take another month to come under the control of Bangladesh.
Local launch from Kennedy Space Center in Kennedy Space Center, Florida, from 10 pm to 4 pm, from 6 pm to 22 minutes (Bangladesh Time on Thursday, from 2 to 12 minutes to 4 to 22 minutes) will be left in orbit in Bangabandhu

Now there are about 30 satellite channels in the country. These channels are being operated with satellite rentals from different countries of the world including Singaporeans. In all, the cost of channels for satellite rentals is $ 2 million or about 17 billion taka. The satellite rental will reduce when Bangabandhu Satellite is launched. Then the country's money will remain in the country

The satellite will also be effective for storm or major disaster management. Such large natural disaster mobile networks have become stagnant for a long time. It will be possible to continue the communication system in remote areas through satellite
