In the Bavarian region, German prosecutors have sold confiscated cryptocurrencies for an amount valued at 12 million euros ($ 13.9 million). This is the largest seized sales agreement that German history has ever observed, as the news reports of Der Tagesspiegel say on May 28.

The agreement regarding the reports included 1312 Bitcoins (BTC), despite the essential measures of other progressive tax structures, including 1399 Bitcoin Cash (BCH), 1312 Bitcoin Gold (BTG) and 220 Ethereum (ETH). The types of computerized cash that were seized in the midst of criminal strategies were sold through the two-month journey in 1,600 individual transactions.

The sum was raised in the middle of criminal proceedings against "Lesen und Laushen", which is an online platform that offers more than 200,000 electronic books, and also recordings of books asking for a few cents as a subscription. Around 30,000 people used the stage according to Der Tagesspiegel.

Prosecutors expressed:

"Since all cryptocurrencies are exposed to the risk of price fluctuations or even total loss, Bayer's Central Cybercrime Office ordered an emergency sale"

Offering assets seized in the midst of criminal examinations is a common practice in law enforcement workplaces around the world. While Germany raised almost US $ 14 million from its computerized cash negotiation, the US Marshals Service collected more than US $ 40 million for 3,812 BTC seized through normal and criminal systems in January.

A year ago, the Bulgarian police seized 213,519 BTC after arresting a group that was choosing ruffian customs officers. At the time of the seizure, the sum of BTC was US $ 3.3 billion, enough to pay one fifth of Bulgaria's national commitment. Today, a comparable total is worth $ 1.5 billion.
