After death

In the early twentieth century, the famous German physician M.Berndt set out to find out what people feel after his death. To this end, he did not go into the Bible, but turned directly to those who survived a clinical death or a long time between life and death. The cases collected by the doctor shock their unusualness, they are amazing coinciding details and a huge variety of possible plots. After death, not complete darkness, but the same as in life, full of impressions of existence, but already in its own, surprising laws. First and foremost, Berndt pays attention to incomprehensible joy (this is something for deadly people or dying people!) Or at least spirituality and calm, described by "resurrected" people as their empathy. Even those who have just survived the horror of death and terrible pain. In addition, in numerous records made by Berndt, there are several other strange patterns that he could not explain, or he tried to explain from the point of view of the science of that time, while admitting that this explanation is hardly better, for example, religious.
The most vivid, in the eyes of the then readers, but on the other hand - typical, the episode with the resurrection was described from the words of some Arnold ZIGFRIDA. The unfortunate, being on the edge of the abyss in the Alpine mountains, had the imprudence to break into the abyss. His still living body flew more than 300 meters, then, torn to shreds, fell on trees, the branches of which though softened the terrible blow, but only a very small ... Arnold crashed in the truest sense of the word, with the only difference is that when he was found, he still showed the weakest signs of life ... For many days he literally went on the brink or even beyond life and death, but when he found life, he remembered again: "... it seemed to me that I was falling for a long time. I managed to understand the environment and change my mind a lot. I was seized by a feeling of strange pleasure. Better than then, I've never been ... "
Again, as in almost all cases of death, pleasure is described. But besides enjoying and another strange detail - stretching your own subjective time. While there is life there is hope?
In 1908, the newspaper "Novye Izvestia" published an entire collection of descriptions of deaths. On the extension of time is not said in all cases, but there again were indirect indications of this phenomenon. For example, "pictures of a movie that has rolled before your eyes, which captured the whole previous life" ...
There are similar hints and Plato has a mention of a warrior who came to life on a funeral pyre on the 12th day after his death and at the same time described his adventures in the land of the dead ...
Raymond MOUDY ("classic of the afterlife") in his famous book "Life After Life" (1976) and other works, where he analyzes the experience of 4 thousand people who survived a clinical death. The totality of these statements seems to prove that there is another life behind our life. Similar studies were conducted in different countries (researchers and doctors E. Kubler-Ross, E. Rodin, Schnaper, E. Shneidemann, A. Tounby with A. Koestler and colleagues) and in Russia (there are data on surveys of 200, then another 60 Russians , survivors of death, I personally interviewed or just talked to about 30 other such people). And everywhere there was the same result - from a quarter to half of these people easily recall the experience, their encounters on the other side of life.
The point of view of similar stories from the side of official science is known. One of the most famous Soviet resuscitators, VA Negovsky in the article "Clinical death. Psychophysical aspects, published in response to Moody's intrigues, writes about the causes of the tunnel visions: "... At a time when the vast parts of the visual cortex share suffer from hypoxia, the poles of both occipital lobes, having a double blood supply, continue to function for some time. The field of vision is sharply narrowed, there is only a narrow band that provides a central vision - tubular vision, which gives the impression of a tunnel. "But how the medicine tries to explain the vision of his life:" ... The process of fading of the functions of the central nervous system basically begins with newer ones structures of the brain and ends with the most ancient. The restoration of vital functions takes place in the reverse order ... In the process of revival in a certain sequence, according to the person's life path, the impressions most emotionally colored and stably fixed in the brain firstly float up in the memory. "
