CABBAGE BUTTERFLY for Butterfly Day🦋🌸🦋
Hello my Dearest Friends,
Very common, yet, not easy to photograph CABBAGE BUTTERFLY because non hardly ever sits down. I took these photos back in June - July, but I was not able to take anymore since. Altough, I see them flying around usually in pairs, seem as they are dancing and having lots of fun, not siting down for two seconds. Definitely not interested in me and my camera, lol.
As you can see, the one on the beautiful pink flower is very tiny yellow, which seems to be a female. She was sitting there for a while, so I was able to take few shots, but she didn't open her wings. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky to capture any with open wings yet. Hopefully this year! I never give up trying 🦋🌸🦋

They do look like dainty, little dancers, don't they? You are so right about these Cabbage butterflies that hardly ever stay still or open their wings long enough. I have only been able to capture them with their wings open about 3 times. Good luck! Beautiful photos as always Lena. : )

I cannot agree more Tracey and they are lots of beautiful flowers I discovered with ridicules names too, lol.
You are so right about that butterflies in general don't have much interest in us or our camera but you did get lucky on this one they are awesome shots 👍

Howdy Janton! Well, it depends. Sometimes I take 20 and I have nothing good and sometimes I take 10 and I get almost all good, lol. But on average, I would say, 3 out of 20. Thank you so much, I am glad you like it 🦋😊🦋
