Whoa at first I thought was like showing old film kind of cinema. Then, surprisingly cinema that shows opera! That’s very rare now! Still got people going for opera in HK?
The place is really called a cinema but is quite versatile. One section of it has a big stage for Cantonese opera and the other section is a cinema. So you can see two entrances leading to two sections.
This cinema is a primary base for all Cantonese opera lovers. They are minority of cause. Cantonese opera is fading too.
I see, interesting to know this kinda cinema still exists. Ya, unfortunately, the culture will slowly fade away as modernism takes over.
