CHALLENGES & HINDRANCES TO DISCOVERING AND DEVELOPING YOUR TALENT #2

Hello fellow steemians. On my last posts I have been talking or rather discussing on Talents, how to develop your talents and hindrances and challenges of developing your talents. You can visit my blog @kerry234 to get more details.

Today we would continue still on the challenges and hindrances of developing one's talents.

• PURSUIT OF INSTANT WEALTH: One problem that plagues young people is the mad rush to become rich over night. This is why many young people and some adults are into fraud and robbery instead of developing the talents they have.

Wealth does not come over night. Some wealthy people have stories of what they had to endure on their way to becoming wealthy. Young people should not allow pressure of any kind to push or lure them into the wrong things. You have to know that wealth got through wrong ways will never last and will make ones life miserable. You can take thag from me lol.

• UNSERIOUSNESS/ LACK OF FOCUS: This is one of the problems with young people. Many of them are not serious about anything. They lack focus. They are like a person who wakes up in the morning and hoes out witbout knowing where he/she is headed to. This is equal to madness lol. You need to take time to think, think about your life, where you are now, where you want to be in the future like being on this platform lol, THINK, THINK and THINK. Thinking is not worrying.

Worrying stresses you and fills you with hoplessness. It only lets you focus on the problem. Thinking has to do with finding ways of getting out of problems. That is what it means to think creatively. Think to solve your problems and confront yoyr challenges.

Avoid thinking on what is wrong. Think of what you can do that is good to solve your problems.

Learn to write down what you want to do and where you want to be in the future. Focus on the future you desire.

• DISTRACTION: Distraction comes from lack of focus. This can come from various people. This should be resisted. Do yoyr thing: don't let anybody or anything that is not in line with your talent catch your attention.

Don't copy, be yourself.

• FOLLOWING THE CROWD: You don't have to follow anybody in what they are doing. Forget that stupid saying " if you can't beat them, join them". It is for weak people. Peiple who are celebrated in the world are people who decided to be and do things differently from the popular way. People are tired of what is old. Introduce something new. We are created to be different from others.

Often, talents do not look attractive. In fact, they are lime gold or diamond trapped in dirt or mud.

No matter the challenge, put your best in the attempt to develop your talent. It could hold the key to wealth, and a life of fulfilment and security in time of unemployment. Keep working on yourself. Spend the effort and money it requires. You will be glad you did sooner or later.
