Thai Photo Contest: some old statues really make me jump! รูปปั้นเก่าๆทำให้เรากระโดดหนี

This is my entry for #thaiphotocontest46 on statue photography. One of my favourite hobbies is visiting museums, art galleries and antique shops. This gives me an opportunity to take photos and learn about history.

Sometimes the old statues on display made me feel as if they were looking at me. They seemed to be alive but they were pretending to be very still. I jumped like a cat caught by surprise! These photos were taken at the Cultural Center in Amarin Plaza last year just before they closed the center as those shops did not make any money. So, I was quite lucky to have been there several times to enjoy the collections of antiques and statues.

รูปภาพเหล่านี้เราได้บันทึกไว้ดูเล่นและเป็นที่ระลึก เพราะรูปปั้นเก่าๆอย่างนี้หาดูได้ยาก รูปปั้นเหล่านี้ทำให้เราสะดุ้งและแปลกใจมาก ที่เรารู้สึกว่ารูปปั้นดูเหมือนมีชีวิต แต่แกล้งทำเป็นขยับไม่ได้ แถมยังมองตามเราอีกด้วย เราอาจจะคิดไปเองก็ได้ เราก็รีบถ่ายรูปแล้วรีบเดินไปดูอย่างอื่นต่อ งานอดิเรกอย่างหนึ่งของเราคือการไปเดินเล่นตามพิพิธภัณฑ์ ห้องแสดงภาพและงานศิลปะ และงานนิทรรศการ. เราจะได้มีโอกาสถ่ายรูปและเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับประวัติศาสตร์ด้วย รูปพวกนี้เราบันทึกจากศูนย์วัฒนธรรม ที่ชั้นสามของอัมรินทร์พลาซ่า ซึ่งแต่ก่อนมีงานแสดงรูปปั้นโบราณ และของเก่าๆ ให้ดูฟรีมากมาย เราโชคดีมากที่มีโอกาสได้ไปเดินดูหลายรอบ ปัจจุบันศูนย์วัฒนธรรมถูกปิดไปแล้ว เพราะร้านขายของภายในศูนย์ขายของไม่ได้ ทำให้ขาดทุนจึงต้องย้ายออกไปที่อื่น แต่เราไม่รู้ว่าเขาย้ายไปอยู่ที่ไหนกัน เสียดายรูปปั้นเก่าๆขนาดใหญ่มากมาย ที่เราไม่ได้เห็นที่นี่อีกต่อไป
