Thai Photo Contest: beautiful sunset in Nongkhai, พระอาทิตย์ตกดินที่หนองคาย

These winter evenings in Nongkhai are blessed with colourful sunsets with strong warming energy. Local people and tourists from nearby resort could be seen walking along the river bank during sunset. This is the beginning of the dry season and the river level has sunk very low. In a few months we could probably walk across to Laos! Only small long boats could navigate along the river. People are resigned to a hard season of drought this year. Some provinces in Thailand have already declared water crisis. Farmers and the agriculture sector will be severely affected this year. So, I am thinking of digging a well this year.

I have seen the map of the flows of winds which have been affected by the moving magnetic North Pole and the new cycle of the minimum sunspots on the sun. We are living in an electric universe with electromagnetic fields everywhere all of which exert subtle influences upon each other. No wonder people tend to get mood fluctuations during full moon and conjunctions of powerful planets. These intangible forces have shifted the hot air flow towards the northern hemisphere: Russia, resulting in less moisture over Thailand and Laos. So we could expect to have much less rain in a few months’ time. On the other hand, the thick band of cold air has been pulled towards northern parts of America and Europe; so there would be more prolonged snow over there.

The funny thing is that more moisture air has been pushed to northern part of Africa and Middle East so there should be more rainfall which would start to green that previously dry area. The Chinese also predicted this change in air flows due to changing electromagnetic fields around the earth, so they have already begun their projects to grow wheat and other staples in Africa and new wet areas along the ‘One Belt, One Road’ countries. They don’t want to have food riots or the fall of a dynasty as had happened before in their history of collapsed dynasty every 400 years cycle. So, I wonder if this same predicament also happened in our history when all the water ways got dried up during the Sukhothai period which forced people to abandon the city and the kingdom to disintegrated. I think people in Thailand should start looking into this new weather trend which will affect our food production and agricultural sector.

เราชอบหน้าหนาวมาก เพราะท้องฟ้าที่หนองคายจะสดใส และเป็นสีฟ้าเข้ม พระอาทิตย์ตกก็จะมีสีสวยเป็นพิเศษ พอตกเย็นเราจะเห็นชาวบ้าน และนักท่องเที่ยวที่อยู่ที่รีสอร์ตใกล้ๆมาเดินเล่น และถีบจักรยานตามริมแม่น้ำ แต่ปีนี้ระดับนํ้าในแม่นํ้าโขงลดลงเร็วมาก เราคิดว่าอีกสองเดือน คนคงสามารถเดินข้ามไปฝั่งลาวได้ ปีนี้สงสัยว่าผู้คนจะมีปัญหาภัยแล้งกันทั่วไป ตอนนี้หลายจังหวัดเริ่มมีปัญหาขาดแคลนนํ้ากันแล้ว เราก็พึ่งได้ดูแผนที่ภาพทางเดินของลมที่อยู่รอบโลก ผลกระทบของการเคลื่อนที่ของทิศเหนือตามขั้วแม่เหล็กใหม่นั้น ทำให้ทิศทางลมเปลี่ยนไปขนานใหญ่ ต่อไปนี้สภาพอากาศและฤดูกาลจะไม่เหมือนเดิมแบบที่เคยผ่านมา มนุษย์ควรเตรียมรับมือกับความเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งใหญ่นี้ด้วย

ผลจากการเคลื่อนที่ของขั้วแม่เหล็กทิศเหนือ และการลดลงของจุดดับบนพระอาทิตย์ในรอบสิบเอ็ดปี ทำให้กระแสทางเดินของสนามแม่เหล็กรอบโลกเปลี่ยนหมด สิ่งที่ผันแปรให้เห็นคือ สภาพอากาศไม่เหมือนเดิม. เราเห็นภาพทางเดินของลมร้อนที่อยู่เหนือโลกถูกดึงให้สูงขึ้นไปทางรัสเซีย. ทำให้ปีนี้ไม่มีหิมะตกในเมืองหลวงของเขาและหน้าหนาวมีอากาศอุ่นมาก. ผลกระทบต่อไทยและลาวคือ ลมที่มีความชื้นหายไปจากชั้นอากาศเหนือประเทศ. จะทำให้อากาศร้อนและฝนไม่ตกตามฤดูกาล หน้าแล้งปีนี้และปีต่อไป เราต้องเจอภัยแล้งหนักขึ้น ชาวนาและชาวไร่ เกษตรกรรมในประเทศจะต้องลำบากหากไม่รีบปรับตัวและตั้งรับความเปลี่ยนแปลงนี้. แนวความคิดเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง และทฤษฎีใหม่ควรจะเอามาใช้ให้เป็นประโยชน์

ตอนนี้จีนก็เริ่มเตรียมตัวแล้ว เพราะ เขาก็เฝ้าดูแผนที่กระแสลม และจุดดับบนพระอาทิตย์. จีนได้เริ่มโครงการเพาะปลูกตามที่ต่างๆที่จะเริ่มมีฝนตกแทนความแห้งแล้ง เช่นในประเทศตามแถบอัฟริกาเหนือ ที่อยู่ตามทางหนึ่งแถบหนึ่งเส้นทาง จีนรู้ว่าต้องมีอาหารเลี้ยงประชากร มิฉะนั้นจะมีการจลาจลเพราะความหิวโหย และการล่มสลายของอาณาจักรเหมือนที่เกิดขึ้นในประวัติศาสตร์จีนทุก400ปี ทำให้เราคิดถึงอาณาจักรสุโขทัยโบราณ ที่ทางนํ้าเปลี่ยน คลองส่งนํ้าแห้ง ระบบชลประทานล่มสลาย ผู้คนอดอยาก ปลูกข้าวไม่ได้ มีการอพยพย้ายถิ่นฐาน เมืองและอาณาจักรก็เสื่อมสลายไป ที่น่าสนใจคือ ในวงรอบใหม่ของทิศทางลมคือ ประเทศในอัฟริกา และตะวันออกกลางจะมีฝนมากขึ้น จะเขียวขึ้นด้วย จีนจึงได้ไปลงทุน ‘หนึ่งแถบหนึ่งเส้นทาง’ ในหลายประเทศที่นั่น. ตอนนี้สงครามอาหารได้เกิดขึ้นแล้ว แต่มันเงียบจนน่ากลัว ประเทศไทยเริ่มเจอความแล้งทั่วภาคกลางแล้ว มันพึ่งเริ่มต้น ถ้าขาดน้ำและขาดอาหารไปทั่ว คนจนจะตายมากขึ้น คนรวยและเจ้าสัวก็ต้องย้ายไปอยู่ต่างประเทศสักสิบปี จนกว่าวงรอบของจุดดับบนพระอาทิตย์จะครบ นี่เรายังไม่ได้พูดถึง เรื่องโรคระบาด และแผ่นดินไหวที่จะมีความรุนแรงมากขึ้นอีก เราคิดว่าทุกคนควรเริ่มเพาะปลูกอาหาร และหาแหล่งนํ้าสำรองดีกว่า กันไว้ดีกว่าแก้ในอนาคต
