Daily Pet Photogrophy: missing my cats in the country house, คิดถึงแมวที่บ้านสวน

I have been away from my cats for a week now and I am missing them and their antics a lot.

This is the grandmother cat who was the original stray cat arriving at my garden last year. She is very good at climbing trees and used to lead her two daughters, Rosy and Jilly, climbing up trees and sitting on my orchids. After I took the cats to be neutered, things are not the same, she could not remember her own family.

These three photos are the grown up kittens: Kwan, Joan and Snow. They are getting really fat and long! These are very gentle cats with sweet nature. I am glad that I did manage to tame them since they were small. Now they allow me and my gardener to touch them.

I still have some distance between me and Rosy; Jilly disappeared after coming back from the vet’s clinic. Rosy would allow me to be near her but is still reluctant to be touched. She is always on alert while the kittens are sleeping! What a great cat auntie! She used to bring in small field mouse to the kittens.

เราไม่ได้เล่นกับแมวมาอาทิตย์แล้ว เพราะเรามาอยู่กรุงเทพฯช่วงนี้ เริ่มคิดถึงและเป็นห่วงแมว และอยากเห็นแมววิ่งเล่นและปีนต้นไม้ เจ้าสโนว์ฉลาดมาก เราจะเรียกให้มันปีนต้นไม้ให้ดูประจำ ตอนนี้มันอ้วนมากไปแล้ว มันไม่สามารถปีนได้สูงเหมือนแต่ก่อน แมวตัวยายเป็นแมวที่ไม่กลัวคนเลย และเข้าหาคนที่มีปลาทูในตะกร้า ส่วนป้าแมวโรซี่เป็นแมวที่มีความตื่นตัวสูงมาก มันจะคอยระวังภัยให้ลูกแมวที่กำลังนอนหลับ มันยังไม่ยอมให้เราจับตัวมากนัก

เราคิดว่าเจ้าโรซี่เหมือนคนมาก บางวันอาหารเม็ดในชามหมดเร็วมาก และมันรอเวลาอาหารเย็นเหมือนดูนาฬิกาเป็น วันไหนถ้าเราลงไปให้อาหารสายประมาณสามสิบนาที เจ้าโรซี่จะขึ้นบันไดมาร้องเรียกเราว่าได้เวลาอาหารเย็นแล้ว ทั้งๆที่มันขี้อายมากแบะจะไม่ค่อยส่งเสียงเลย มันมาเรียกเพื่อหลานของมัน เพราะทุกครั้งมันจะคอยให้หลานแมวกินกันจนอิ่มก่อน แล้วมันก็ค่อยเข้าไปกินอาหาร มิน่าเล่าโรซี่จึงเป็นแมวที่ผอมที่สุด ตอนนี้มันตัวเล็กกว่าหลานสามตัวของมันแล้ว นี่เรากลายเป็นคนชอบแมวมากกว่าสุนัขไปแล้วหรือนี่!
