Beautiful Sunday: Views at nearby resort, วิวที่รีสอร์ตใกล้บ้าน
This is my entry for #beautifulsunday hosted by @ace108. Today is a slow and easy day in the countryside for me. We have the skate time to check on a house which may be for sale. But we got misinformed after all, the house is not for sale. So, we go to check out a resort nearby, there is so much construction there.
This small and quiet resort by the river has become very popular during the weekends. Visitors like to have dinner and their cold drinks on the lawn by the river bank.
There are now very colourful and nice seatings by the river where people can enjoy their dinner during sunset. The new restaurant has an area for live music at night. The surrounding is very green snd full of orchids and flowering plants.
วันนี้เราพอมีเวลาจึงออกไปดูบ้านที่มีคนบอกว่าอยากจะขาย พอดีเรามีเพื่อนสองคนที่อยากมาอยู่หนองคายตอนเกษียร เขาถามหาบ้านและที่ดินแถวนี้ แต่พอเราไปพบเจ้าของบ้าน เราจึงรู้ว่าข่าวที่ได้ฟังมานั้นไม่เป็นความจริง ก็พากันไปเดินชมรีสอร์ตที่อยู่ริมแม่น้ำดีกว่าเพราะเราเห็นมีการก่อสร้างมากมายตลอดเวลา
ตอนนี้ที่นี่กลายเป็นที่กินข้าวฟังเพลงที่ฮิตมากตอนช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ เพราะบรรยากาศดีมาก เวลากินข้าวเย็นจะเห็นพระอาทิตย์ตกสวยงาม ห้องอาหารที่ทำใหม่ก็กว้างขวางมาก มีที่นั่งในสวนหลายโต๊ะท่ามกลางต้นไม้ และดอกไม้เต็มพื้นที่. เราจึงไม่แปลกใจว่าทำไมคนจึงขับรถมาจากต่างจังหวัดมากินข้าวที่นี่
These are some of the orchids at the resort. There should be lots more orchids during the winter months. The weather has been very hot this month with spasmodic rain. Mango trees are so confused by the erratic weather that most mango trees in the village are in full bloom! Normally we should be harvesting mango fruits!

Yes, this is a nice place but it is a bit too expensive for me! Food prices are just like in Bangkok!

The resort looks like a very relaxing place to enjoy some peace and quiet. I love the flowers too.
This is a nice place when there are not too many customers. Long public holidays are not so quiet!
My place is much quieter! With four cats!

I enjoyed seeing it when it was on the quiet side. So, one of the cats decided to leave. Funny how they just do their own thing. lol
Oh! The grandmother cat couldn’t remember her family’s scent after they had been to the vet for a week! She kept threatening them but they did not react to the hostile gesture. So she just moved to next door! But she came back to see me from time to time!

So, the house is not for sale and you decide to but a resort? :-)
No! The house design is not nice any way. If I had lots of money, I would build my own little resort on my own land!
I might make a camping site in the winter months in the future!

I thought there is not much "winter" in Thailand.
In the north and north-east where people live on high mountains, the weather can be cool most of the time. And the winter months can be quite cold!

That's the sort of resorts i like by a quite river with beautiful sunsets you couldn't ask for any more peace and tranquility :)

I suppose it's the perfect spot for it but i am sure there would be a few quite nights in between :)
