Dom-Impressionen in Wien ~ Cathedral impressions in Vienna
Nach meiner eigenen laienhaften Beobachtung ist Wien eine Stadt der Domkuppeln, mit grünlichen Flaschenfarben. Das gefällt mir. Halbkreisförmige, halbelliptische oder zwiebelförmige Gewölbe befinden sich innerhalb einem Radius von 360 Grad Sichtweite.
Hier passt alles zusammen.
Die Farbenpalette des Stadtzentrums ist in einen gleichmäßigen Farbton getaucht - in Sandcremefarbe, in einem flaschengrün sowie in gelbgold. Prachtvolle Ornamente und monumentale Gebäudeblöcke... man kann sich hier wie an einem königlichen Hof fühlen.

According to my own amateur observation, Vienna is a city of cathedral cupolas, with pleasant greenish bottle colours. I like that. Semicircular, semi-elliptical or onion-shaped vaults are within a radius of 360 degrees of visibility.
Everything fits together here.
The colour palette of the city centre is immersed in an even shade - sand cream, bottle green and yellow gold. Magnificent ornaments and monumental blocks of buildings... one can feel here like at a Royal Court.
