International Women's Day: Saudi women do not need permission from their husbands or close relatives. This initiative has been taken to develop and expand the country's private sector. On Thursday, the Saudi government announced the change of policy.

The Saudi Ministry of Trade and Investment said on their website, "Without the permission of the guardian, women will be able to run their business from now on and they can take government e-services in this regard."

Saudi women have to work with men's rights in any work related to government jobs, travel or classes. Usually the husband, father or brother does the job of this guardian.

Under the 'Vision 2030', Saudi King Salman has announced to reduce dependence on oil export in Saudi Arabia, which has announced the release of Saudi Prince Salman. Under this plan, initiatives have been taken to expand Saudi tourism and private sector expenditure.

The Saudi government has to withdraw the restrictions on women since last year. In the first phase, Saudi women are allowed to drive, which will be effective from June. Recently, women have been appointed to 140 posts in the airport and border areas. Last week, one of the religious leaders said that Saudi women need not wear a burqa.
