The angular cheilitis
The angular cheilitis, also known as Boquera or Perleche, is a painful wound that occurs in the edge of the mouth. Boquera is a common dermatosis characterized by inflammation and fissure of the angle of the lips.
Several situations can provide the emergence of the angular cheilitis, the most common are the use of dental devices or dentures.
If the causes are not attacked, the lesion can be perpetuated, becoming chronic.
