10 awesome places everyone should visit in Uganda''The pearl of Africa''

Since I started steemit, very many people have been asking more about Uganda and wanted to know more about Uganda. To day, im just going to share a litter bit about various wonderful place win Uganda of which you must visit before you leave Uganda. These are the places that have a lot of stories and great lessons for the present and future generation.

Uganda is called the pearl of Africa, This term was first pronounced by Winston Churchill who admired the beauty of the country. He was surprised about what he found in Africa and here is what he wrote “For magnificence, for variety of form and color, for profusion of brilliant life — bird, insect, reptile, beast — for vast scale — Uganda is truly “the Pearl of Africa.”

Uganda is too rich in all varieties and multi cultural State. the country has more than 45 tribes, speaking different languages and having different cultural backgrounds. Among those tribes are the Baganda (majority), Banyankole, Bangor, Batoro, Luo, Itesot and others.

Here we start with the best places that you would ever wish to reach in Uganda:

Kaddafi National Mosque*: This is a memorial which kaddafi, former Lybia president left to Uganda. This place is located in the middle of kampala city, so beautiful to see, calm and attractive.

Bwindi impenetrable national park: This park is located in the south west of the country and near the border with DRCongo. Bwindi national park is formed of mountains and hills with approximatly 300 gorillas.

Jinja. This is the place where you will see the river nile source. There is nothing great like that I believe. MY first experience was so amazing and I couldn't forget to tell anyone about this wonderful place. Its also links the victim lake. In ninja, you will also see all Uganda manufacturing industries and the city is formed of old colonials houses.

Mbale: Located in eastern Uganda, bordering Kenya, its also a wonderful place to visit. In this place you will have to discover mount Elgon national park, sis and sumo water falls, Bufumbo and Wanala Forest reserves, Bulegeni and Butandinga Cliffs/Ridges, Cultural / Heritage Sites, Crafts and Souvenirs Industry, etc.

Lira: In Uganda, Lira won the prime destination for 2015’s national celebration of what is now the world’s leading economic sector. You will have to learn about the atoll. cultural, clothes, crafts, and other cultural belief. These people are really amazing, welcoming, rich in culture and loving. they have a funny and amazing way of welcoming people and I hope that you can reach and enjoy the place.

Queen Elizabeth national park: this is the most visited Uganda national park. Its attract a number of tourists and have a variety of items that attracts tourists. The park includes the Maramagambo Forest and borders the Kigezi Game Reserve, the Kyambura Game Reserve, and the Kibale National Park in Uganda, and the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Entebbe: This is a wonderful place to rest after a long week work. It has many beaches along the Victoria lake. At that place, you do also learn about the Baganda culture and other cultural belief.you can visit the Uganda wildlife and education centres, golfing place,Birding, cruise to the island, sailing, visiting the reptile sanctuary and many other places.

Kidepo Valley National Park, Karamoja region, Uganda: Do you know the karamoja people, these people have a rich cultural story in Uganda. They are mostly considered as the people that never adopted the revolution or development principles. I mean most of them did refuse to wear clothes, living in houses or even being educated. They do not believe in the revolutionary teachings and would rather wish to be half naked than wearing clothes. Please do learn more about this people and their cultures. The national park is also full of wonderful varieties, though few due to previous wars periods but wonderful to see.

Ssese Island:Oh my God, for this one, if you miss then you haven't seen Uganda. This is a beautiful island full of colours and beautiful to see. I do personally admire the place and if there is any gift that some one would wish to give me, then he/ she should take me to Ssese island.

Kasubi Tombs: This is place where all the 4 previous Kings of Uganda were buried. This place is so respected in Uganda and has a great value to the Baganda people. Some even worship that place and pay tribute to that particular place. Each Uganda makes sure that the kasubi tombs are safe and each year Baganda people gather at that place for commemoration.

Rwenzori Mountains: I'm sure a number of people have ever heard about that place. This is global attraction for a number of tourists. The mountains are really nice to see and there are some snow on top of those mountains. Most people reach there for adventures and there are so many games and activities that do happen there.
